The La Crosse Technology 308-1414B-INT, Black 308-1414B Wireless Atomic Digital Color Forecast Station with Alerts offers a full color display that provides you with current temperatures, humidity, and a future weather forecast, whether it's sunny, rainy, or snowy. The station features an accurate, self-setting atomic time and date with automatic daylight saving time updates. It also records minimum and maximum values and alerts you to extreme temperatures. The station displays your heat index and dew point, and will indicate low battery and reception strength. Batteries are required but not included.

The factory reset process for the weather station and outdoor sensor returns them to an "out-of-the-box" default state, which can often resolve issues. The steps are as follows:

1. Remove all power (batteries and AC) from the outdoor sensor and weather station.
2. Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear the memory.
3. Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding.
4. Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important).
5. Insert the AC power cord into the wall outlet and then into the weather station.
6. Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor.
7. Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit the RF signal.
8. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the weather station.
9. When the RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection.
10. Do not press any buttons for 15 minutes.

For optimum 433MHz transmission, place the outdoor sensor no more than 300 feet (91 meters, open air) from the weather station.

The La Crosse Technology C85845-INT Weather Station, Black, also offers a full color display that provides current temperatures, humidity, and a future weather forecast. It features an accurate, self-setting atomic time and date with automatic daylight saving time updates. The station records minimum and maximum values and alerts you to extreme temperatures. It also displays heat index and dew point, and indicates weak or low battery and signal reception strength.

The C85845 weather station has a transmission range of up to 300 feet and includes a full-color LCD forecast station with weather icons, atomic clock, and temperature alerts, as well as a separate C85845 weather station with dynamic forecast icons, temperature, and humidity alerts. The forecast station is powered by a 5V AC adapter (included) and 3 AAA batteries (not included), while the C85845 weather station is powered separately.
