The new digital wireless rain station allows you to monitor the amount of rainfall overnight with numeric measurements displayed on the indoor digital base unit. This includes historical data and a cylinder rain graph. The wide-mouth rain bucket self-empties through a collection rocker and can transmit readings up to 330 feet away.
Customizable settings on the device enable you to personalize the display to your preferences. This includes an adjustable rain alert and optional backlight feature. The station requires 6 AA batteries (not included) for full operation.
The self-emptying rain bucket functions through internal tilting cups that drain via venting. This facilitates continuous rainfall readings, which are displayed in inches or millimeters for the current, 1-hour, 24-hour, 7-day, monthly, yearly, and total precipitation.
A dynamic icon indicates on the display whether there has been rainfall on a given day or not. In addition to the precipitation data, the station also monitors and shows indoor and outdoor temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius) as well as humidity levels (percentage of relative humidity).
The time can be displayed in 12 or 24-hour format, with the option to manually set the clock. The calendar feature shows the day, month, and date.
