This weather station offers a comprehensive display of wind, weather, and home conditions on an easy-to-read LCD screen, with backyard sensors that boast a 400-foot wireless transmission range. To ensure your plants stay healthy, you can simply set high/low temperature alerts to know when it's time to bring them inside. This station goes beyond just viewing real-time home conditions; it also alerts you to make changes to keep you and your family comfortable.

To take it to the next level, the free La Crosse View app allows you to monitor your home's conditions remotely and set alerts, so you can stay informed right from your smartphone. You can receive push notifications, check history records, and share important information with your friends and family.

Once connected to the La Crosse View app, your station will display the day's forecasted highs and lows, precipitation, additional forecast icons, and offer more weather details from AccuWeather for your specific location. However, if you're not interested in the La Crosse View app, the station will function perfectly as a standalone unit without a Wi-Fi connection.

The included self-emptying rain bucket with historical data allows you to keep track of your recent rainfall. The La Crosse View app also lets you expand your system and customize it to suit your needs, with the option to add on additional sensors from Lacrosse Technology.

Whether you choose to use it as a standalone weather station or connect it to the Wi-Fi and use it with the free La Crosse View app (which requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices), this weather station offers dynamic color weather forecast icons and automatic tree foliage changes for each season. It also monitors indoor and outdoor temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius) and humidity (percentage of relative humidity), with customizable alerts, using the included Thermo-hygro sensor. Additionally, it tracks current wind speed and top speed, as well as historical records with a time stamp, using the included LTV-W1 wind speed sensor, which can be mounted on the bottom or side.
